Come and Try...

Emerald Archery Club runs Come and Try sessions for anyone wanting to try Archery.

Places are limited so please book early.

Sessions are usually run in groups of Four to ensure everyone has individual time with our coaches. Duration is about two hours and includes a brief introduction to our sport, the safety procedures and a guide to using a Bow and Arrow.

You will have the opportunity to shoot a Compound Bow in the "Barebow" style with plenty of question time.

If you don't have your own bow we ask that you complete our session prior to purchasing any equipment as purchasing the wrong equipment can be expensive if you are not sure what is right for you. Using equipment not suited can also cause serious injury.

Cost for the session is $25.00 per person and includes Equipment Hire and Range Fees. We do offer Family Rates. Please note that a deposit is required on our equipment.

Covered Shoes suitable for walking in bushland and uneven surfaces.

Clothing suitable for the environment and keeping in mind the need for visible safety on the range. Clothing should be comfortable but NOT loose.

Hat and Sunscreen.

A Signed Copy of the Waiver and if under 18 years, your parent or guardian.

We all love our pets however as this is a shooting sport please leave your pets at home.
